Close your zips and pull up your skirts – Minister advises teenagers

Central Regional Minister, Hon. Justina Marigold Assan has advised teenagers in the regions to abstain from sexual immoralities and its accompanying traits.

Her advice comes in relation to the astronomic increase in the number of teenage pregnancies recorded year after year in the Central region.

The Region recorded 10,301 teenage pregnancies last year, a situation that is very worrying and denigrating to the region.

She, therefore, charged all teenagers within the region to focus on their studies and become prominent people in the future rather than going after premature sex which often results in unwanted pregnancies.

She lamented that some teenagers, often the males has also been impregnating their fellows.
