Your visit and the bilateral discussion that will take place after will form the framework for the cooperation that exists between our two countries. So, I’m sure you’re going to have quite an interesting visit to the Asante kingdom. But I wish to warmly welcome you and the queen and your delegation to Ghana,” President Mahama said.

The King expressed appreciation for the show of courtesies to the kingdom of Eswatini. Trade ties between the two countries are on the front burner.

“We are looking forward to seeing the people of this country and to exchanging a lot of information. We have a lot in common, especially when it comes to culture, lifestyles, and so on. We can share a lot.

A lot of ideas could be developed because if you look at the trade within Africa, you can see that it is very limited. It is high time we really turn around that situation,” King Mswati III noted.

The two countries represented by their Foreign Ministers jointly signed a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation.
