The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has announced that all mining licenses that were issued after the 7th December, 2024 election have been revoked.
This means individuals and groups with such licenses cannot use them to mine for minerals in the country.
He said they include small-scale licenses whether they were given EPA approval or otherwise.
The directive comes after research conducted found that most of the application processes were not followed but rushed.
