The Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) has called on the President to intervene and ensure journalists who are brutalized get the justice they deserve.
According to the GJA’s President Albert Dwumfour, seven journalists have been brutalized in the first two months of 2025.

This incident includes military officers and members of the general public assaulting the media.
However, the police have yet to prosecute perpetrators.
