Hon Alex Ebo Koomson is one of the three aspirants or candidates shortlisted to the president for the position of DCE for Gomoa West Constituency.
It is the talk of the people that he might be given the chance to work with the sitting MP. In a one-on-one discussion with Nyce Fm, he said it is not his intention to work against the sitting MP but rather work hand in hand with him to develop Gomoa West.
According to him, if Hon Richard Gyan-Mensah has worked with an NPP DCE for four years wouldn’t hebe able to work with his own NDC person who he has worked with him in the party for some years? He said he is in for development that’s why he contested for the primaries so that he can help develop Gomoa West Constituency even though he wasn’t given the mandate together with Hon Richard Gyan-Mensah they will develop Gomoa West Constituency.
Hon Ebo Koomson also refutes the allegations that he did not vote in the Gomoa constituency during the 2024 general elections. He stated he has served the party on different levels and sponsored the party as well because he is one of the financiers in the Gomoa West NDC party and pledged to help construct the deplorable nature of their roads and make sure Mumford fishing habor become the main harbor in the Central Region because is the one of the biggest fishing harbor in Ghana. He also added that per the population of Gomoa West, they are more than a district and they have to be elevated to municipal status so he will make sure they elevate them when he is given the chance.
