President John Mahama has chosen Thomas Nyarko Ampem, the Member of Parliament for the Asuogyaman Constituency in the Eastern Region, to serve as Deputy Minister for Finance.
Mr. Apem holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University in the U.S. and has a Teacher’s Certificate from Peki Training College. He also studied at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Moreover, the President has appointed John Dumelo as Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture. Mr. Dumelo is both an actor and a farmer. He pursued Civil Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
