Bagbin cautions MPs as 114 MPs replaced in the 9th Parliament

One hundred and fourteen (114) Members of Parliament who were in the 8th parliament of the fourth republic have been replaced in the 9th Parliament.

This is because some of the MPs in the 8th parliament did not contest again while others lost to their opponents.

The 9th Parliament has therefore received a total of 114 New MPs after they were declared winners in the 2020 general election.

Addressing the MP on the floor of Parliament, Speaker Alban Bagbin advised them to perform their roles diligently.

According to him, they will be accessed at the end of the 4 yours.

He said, though MPs can be in parliament for as long as they want, the voters will determine their fate.
