We’ll work to make you Ghana’s best president – Ato Forson assures Mahama

Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the newly sworn-in Minister of Finance, has pledged his unwavering commitment to ensuring President John Dramani Mahama becomes the most successful leader in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.

Speaking after his swearing-in on Wednesday, January 22, Dr. Forson expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and highlighted the collective resolve of the newly appointed ministers to uphold the confidence reposed in them by Ghanaians.

He assured the President of the ministers’ dedication to service, emphasizing their shared goal of restoring Ghana’s economy and addressing critical challenges in key sectors.

Dr. Forson also acknowledged the pressing issues in the country, including challenges in the economy, energy, agriculture, justice system, and education.

He assured the President and the people of Ghana that the team would immediately begin work to address these concerns and rebuild the nation together.

“Mr President, we have been with you throughout your days in opposition. We have witnessed the misgoverning and misrule of the previous administration. We have learnt indeed that Ghanaians will not tolerate such misgovernance any longer.

“We have taken a cue from what you have just told us. We want to assure you that we will serve in such as to make you the best president in the fourth republic. We are also aware of the state of the Ghanaian economy; energy, agriculture, the justice system and indeed the education sector.

“We want to assure you that while we start work today, we will begin the process to rest the country together with of and your team,” he stated.
