Three people are feared dead following a helicopter crash in Tema on Monday, March 16, 2026.
The helicopter reportedly crashed at Oninku Drive School Park in Tema Community One, near the city’s central business district.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service(GNFS) are at the scene, working to recover the bodies from the wreckage.
With the help of law enforcement officers from the Ghana Police Service, the emergency response team managed to retrieve the charred bodies of the victims
Mr Ahmed Abdullia, the Assemblyman for Kwesi Plange Electoral Area, said none of the students was hurt.
