Proceedings in the ongoing case involving NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, focused largely on case management today.

Lawyer for Chairman Wontumi, Andy Appiah-Kubi, told the media that the prosecution had earlier indicated its intention to file additional documents. He confirmed that those documents were indeed filed today, but noted that he had not yet been served with copies of the new filings.
According to him, the prosecution also informed the court that it does not intend to file any further documents and is therefore ready to proceed with full case management.
Lawyer Appiah-Kubi added that his team requested permission from the court to file a motion. The court granted the request and ordered the defense to file the motion by Monday, with the return date set for December 8.
