Ghanaian dancehall sensation Shatta Wale is set to mark his 41st birthday in grand style as part of this year’s MoMo Fest 2025, a vibrant music and entertainment festival celebrating creativity, culture, and youth empowerment.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Independence Square in Accra, will double as Shatta Wale’s official birthday concert, featuring electrifying performances from the self-acclaimed “Dancehall King” alongside a lineup of top Ghanaian acts.
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., announced the collaboration in a post on social media, inviting fans across the country to join him for what he called a “birthday experience like no other.
Organizers of MoMo Fest, which highlights digital innovation and financial inclusion through mobile money services, confirmed that this year’s edition will take on a festive twist, combining entertainment with public engagement.
The concert, themed “ShattaBration at MoMo Fest,” will feature performances from Medikal and other surprise acts. Gates open at 4 p.m., and entry will be free to the public.
