Ejisu NPP primary: Aspirants increase to nine as two more people pick forms.

Two more persons have today picked forms to contest in the Ejisu New Patriotic Party (NPP) bringing the number of aspirants to nine.

The by-election has become necessary following the demise of the Member of Parliament for the area, John Ampontuah Kumah.

Former Assembly members for Essienimpong Electoral Area, Aaron Prince Duah and Maame Yaa Aboagyewaa are the latest to join the race.

On the first day, the following people picked their forms;
Former GFA President Kwasi Nyantakyi, Lawyer Kwabena Boateng, a second vice chairman of the NPP in Ejisu, and Helena Mensah.

Other aspirants include Lawyer Portia Baffoe Abronye, Dr Evans Duah, Madam Pokuaa Boitey, and Klinsman Karikari Mensah. All the aspirants are hopeful of making it onto the ballot as the nomination period closes on Thursday, April 4.

Aaron Prince Duah who described himself as a grassroots person believes that quality will win him the elections.
