Amid heightened police presence, the protesters are coming together again for Day 2 of the demonstration to show their solidarity.
Notable presence at the protest day 2 include Ghanaian Celebrities EL, Kelvyn boy, Comedian Warris and Efia Odo who have joined the Democracy Hub Group to keep the protest going.
About 49 individuals were initially detained during the Thursday, September 21st protest but were later released by the police in the late afternoon.
In spite of the arrests and alleged police intimidation, the group has vowed to persist with their protest.#OccupyJulorbiHouse continues!
According to EL, it’s about time influential voices like his started addressing the challenges faced by citizens in our country.
“ The Ghanaian is not absolutely free”, he further stated.
