Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo is set to have a scan on a hamstring injury and will not feature against Chelsea this weekend.
The Brazilian collected the problem in training earlier this week and the club are waiting to find out how long he will be sidelined for.
“Danilo has a hamstring problem, we are waiting for the results of a scan that he will have tomorrow,” said head coach Steve Cooper.
“He was due to play against Burnley (in the Carabao Cup). I did not want to make as many changes as we did against Burnley. But we had one or two fatigue issues. We were forced into one or two things.”
Forest made seven changes to their starting line-up at the City Ground and are likely to make a similar number at Stamford Bridge as they return to Premier League action.
Cooper will not be able to call upon Orel Mangala, who has a minor problem picked up in training, which also ruled him out of the game against Manchester United last weekend. He is expected to return after the international break.
Andrey Santos is also unavailable after making his debut against Burnley, as he is on loan at Forest from Chelsea.
Scott McKenna, though, will have a fitness test after coming off at Old Trafford with a tight hamstring.
