Removing Adwoa Safo from parliament requires application of the law – NPP to Foot Soldiers

Calls from NPP party foot soldiers for the removal of the Dome-Kwabenya MP, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo from Parliament over her long absence in the house has become loud over the past few days.

The Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Boahen has however responded saying that the party cannot use its powers to remove the MP.

Though they are all worried, no law permits them to take such actions hence the need to apply the rules.

A Political Analyst, Professor Amoako Baah in his reaction to this conversation has said that the NPP has treated Hon. Adwoa Sarfo unfairly may have triggered all these sagas.

He said they have assigned people to play her role as the Gender Minister while she was rather sworn in.

No one defends her despite her hard work and contribution that brought the NPP into power.

They shouldn’t address her personally but treat her properly as NPP is becoming unpopular.
