Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) only needs to pray as part of efforts to reclaim its lost parliamentary seats if elections were held today.
Mr. Afenyo-Markin maintained that there is no pathway for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to secure a majority in Parliament under the current political climate.

According to him, beyond reorganising and strengthening its structures, the NPP must also commit the party’s fortunes to prayer.
“If elections were organised today, the NPP would reclaim the majority of the seats we lost; there is no way the NDC can get a majority,” he stated, expressing confidence in the party’s prospects.
