The ongoing Ghana Armed Forces recruitment exercise entered its second day on a calm and well-organized note at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Hundreds of young men and women from across the Ashanti Region arrived as early as dawn, eager to participate in the physical and documentation screening process.

Officials from the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) maintained strict order and efficiency throughout the day. Security personnel ensured that only shortlisted applicants with the correct documents and attire were allowed into the screening area. Inside, medical officers, physical trainers, and administrative teams worked together to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
The Station Manager of the Ghana National Ambulance Service at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Jafar Abdulai, has reported that the second day of the military recruitment exercise was smooth and incident-free.
He attributed the calm process to effective arrangements and fewer applicants, noting that yesterday’s session experienced minor stampedes, with five people receiving medical attention.
Jafar Abdulai explained that many unexpected situations occurred yesterday, but overall, not more than 20 people were injured.
