President John Dramani Mahama has cut the sod for the Upgrading and Rehabilitation of the Wench-Bole-Sawla-Wa Road (195 KM).
The aim is to make transportation of people and goods to and from the area easy.
According to Prez. Mahama, the topmost priority is to construct roads that connect regional capitals and district capitals.
This will be followed by roads that join the main ones.
He has once again urged road users in the country to pardon him, as the entire country is turned into a road construction zone.
Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, assured road contractors that their monies will be paid on time.
He has thus advised contractors to be committed to their tasks.
