PFA Premier League Team of the Year announced as Liverpool star scoops biggest prize 

At the glitzy 2025 Professional Footballers’ Association Awards in Manchester, Mohamed Salah secured football immortality, winning the PFA Men’s Player of the Year award for an unprecedented third time—a record-breaking feat that cements his status among Premier League greats.

Salah concluded the 2024–25 campaign with 29 goals and 18 assists, leading Liverpool to the Premier League title with a comfortable margin over Arsenal. His virtuoso season also saw him claim the Premier League Player of the Season, Golden Boot, and Playmaker awards—he’s the first player ever to snag all four in a single season.

Adding to his accolades, Salah was one of five Liverpool players named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year. He’s joined by Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and new signing Milos Kerkez

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s dominance wasn’t limited to the men’s awards. On the women’s side, Mariona Caldentey earned PFA Women’s Player of the Year for guiding Arsenal to Champions League glory, while Olivia Smith—recently transferred from Liverpool to Arsenal—claimed the Women’s Young Player of the Year, making history as the first female player commanding a seven-figure transfer fee
