We are coming for the Akwatia seat – Aseidu Nketia tells NPP.

The NDC’s National Chairman, Johnson Aseidu Nketia, has assured the NPP that they will show up for the Akwatia constituency by-election.

The NDC has pulled out of the pending Tamale Central constituency by-election following the death of the MP, Mutala Mohammed.

However, the other vacant seat in parliament, whose election will be held on 2nd September, is being contested by both the NPP and NDC.

Aseidu Nketia made this statement when the leadership of the NPP visited them at their party office to sympathize with them after the demise of the 8 fallen heroes through a helicopter crash.
