President John Dramani Mahama has once again appealed to the Mamprusi and Kusasi groups to give peace a chance in Bawku.
He made this appeal when the Overlord of Gonjaland, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, paid a courtesy call on him.
According to him, the criminal acts, including the killing of students, should not be tolerated.
Prez. Mahama said the Asantehene is almost done with the peace negotiation and wonders why some individuals are deliberately causing chaos in some parts.
