NPP HAS TO CONTEST THE ABLEKUMA NORTH SEAT – KENNEDY AGYAPONG

Former MP and Flagbearer Hopeful for the New Patriotic Party, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has stated that the party must rescind the decision to boycott the rerun of some 19 polling stations in Ablekuma North.

He indicated that the seat is a traditional NPP seat with 14 out of the 19 polling stations under contention being ones that the NPP always wins, so it will be easier for the party to win them again and secure their seat.

He also added that boycotting the election gives the NDC the opportunity to annex the seat, giving them 2/3 of the seats in parliament and making them a supermajority.

He therefore urges the party to marshal all forces together and rally behind its candidate to win the election.
