Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has announced that the government is poised to construct 600 Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds by the end of 2025 to improve access to healthcare across districts.

According to him, the 2025 budget has allocated funds to construct 2 new CHP compounds in each district in Ghana.
It is expected that the government will construct 2000 new CHP compounds within 4 years.
Mr. Kwakye Ofosu said most of the work on the projects will commence this year.
The government is poised to boost healthcare, he said.
