Club World Cup: A weekend of exciting football as the action continues.

Man City reached the last 16 with a 6-0 win.

Ilkay Gundogan scored twice as Manchester City thrashed Al Ain 6-0 to secure their place in the last 16 of the Club World Cup.

The Premier League side were far too strong for their Abu Dhabi-based opponents under a closed roof at Atlanta’s spectacular Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Ten-player Real Madrid survived an early sending-off to beat Mexican side Pachuca 3-1 with Jude Bellingham opening the scoring.

Xabi Alonso’s side was reduced to 10 players when Raul Asencio was dismissed in just the seventh minute for bringing down former West Brom, Newcastle, and Everton striker Salomon Rondon.

However, with their backs against the wall, Real played smartly and ruthlessly on the counter-attack and Bellingham fired home a well-taken strike for the lead.

Meanwhile, Kenan Yildiz scored twice as Juventus secured a 4-1 win over Wydad Casablanca, taking control of Group G.

The Italian side, who opened their campaign by thumping Al Ain 5-0, were tested by the Moroccans for whom Thembinkosi Lorch’s effort sparked thunderous celebrations.

Inter Milan kept alive their hopes of making the last 16 with a late 2-1 comeback victory over Urawa Red Diamonds in Seattle.

Ryoma Watanabe converted Takuro Kaneko’s square pass to give Urawa a shock 11th-minute lead.

Lautaro Martinez headed against the Urawa crossbar in the first half, but the Champions League finalists struggled to break down compact Japanese opponents.

Urawa held out until 12 minutes from time when Martinez met Nicolo Barella’s corner with a brilliant overhead kick.

Inter’s winner came in the second of four added minutes after the ball bounced around the Urawa box.

Fluminense beat Ulsan HD 4-2 in a result that eliminated the Korean side.

Lee Jin-hyun and Um Won-sang had put Ulsan ahead at half-time despite Jhon Arias opening the scoring for the Brazilian side after 27 minutes.

However, Fluminense roared back after the break as goals from Nonato, Juan Freytes, and Keno put them top of Group F on goal difference.

River Plate and Monterrey played out a goalless draw in Group E.
