President John Mahama has embarked on his nationwide Thank You Tour with a visit to the Western and Central Regions, expressing gratitude to Ghanaians for their overwhelming support in the December 7 election.
The event is expected to draw thousands of supporters, party executives, and government officials who will join the President in celebrating the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s victory.

Following the Western Region visit, the President visited the Central Region today, and the event was held at Jubilee Park in Cape Coast.
The gathering in Cape Coast is anticipated to be just as vibrant, with residents and party faithful expected to show up in large numbers to welcome the President.
According to the president central region has played a big role in bringing him to power and also set a record for making it possible for Ghana to have the first female vice president who is also from the central region. He then showed his gratitude to the people of Cape Coast and the central region at large.
