Please bring back the Sanitary Inspection (Town Council) – Nana Annor Akyemfo to Government.

Good health is one of the basic necessities in every human’s life.

Disease outbreaks like cholera are really taking the stage in Ghana especially Central region of which major concerns, antidotes, and suggestions are being raised by some Ghanaians in curbing the menace.

With regards to this, the Dwantoahene of Agona Kwaman traditional council in the Agona West municipality in the central region, Nana Annor Akyemfo who is popularly known as Nana Dwantoahene has also added his voice appealing to the government with great suggestion that, the government led by the first gentleman of the land, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to kindly bring back the sanitary inspection initiative which was popularly known as Town Council to help check sanity in our communities.

In an interview with Nyce media journalist, Nana Yaw Idan, Nana Dwantoahene disclosed that the then town council policy was so helpful to Ghanaians in terms of sanity and good health.

Nana said cholera, diarrhea, and other disease outbreaks in the Central region and Ghana at large are the cause of this issue.

He then pleaded with the government to strengthen ties with Zoomlion Ghana too to partner with the town council initiative to help check the health status of Ghanaians.

He said, bringing it back will surely help Ghanaian citizens and the government at large in diverse ways, especially in the field of revenue.

However, the Benkumhene of Agona Kwaman traditional council, Nana Amoah Sakyi II also took the opportunity to present some of their challenges through Nyce media to the government such as teachers Deficit issues which had since been a canker for the three basic schools in Agona Kwaman( Roman Catholic school, Presbyterian and Methodist school)

Nana Amoah Sakyi II also spoke about the lack of toilet facilities whereby over six thousand population community like Agona Kwaman has only one public toilet which is very bad.

He finally levelled the issue of sanitation and good health by pleading with the sanitation ministry to offer them a rubbish container for off-loading their baggage etc.
