Speaking during the commissioning and handing over of the new Ekon Health Center Out-Patient Department (OPD) in Cape Coast, Dr. Kwesi Atta II advised individuals to seek medical attention promptly, rather than waiting until their condition worsens. He also stressed the significance of maintenance culture, cleanliness, and environmental sustainability in ensuring a healthy lifestyle.

The Ekon Health Center’s new OPD facility was donated by Nana Wiabo Kwamina V, the Tufohen of Ekon. In an interview, Nana Wiabo Kwamina V highlighted the need for accessible healthcare facilities within communities, enabling residents to receive timely medical attention without having to travel to distant clinics or hospitals.

Physician Assistant Isaac Tekyi Mensah expressed gratitude for the new facility, which addresses the challenges faced by the Ekon Health Center, including inadequate space.
