As Ghana’s longest-serving legislator, Mr. Bagbin reflected on his development as a leader, stating, “I came to the Speaker of the Eighth Parliament with my experience as the longest legislator of the House. Now, as I step into the 9th Parliament, I bring not only that background but also the insights gained from four years in a challenging hung parliament.”
His leadership during the 8th Parliament, characterized by both its unique dynamics and obstacles, has equipped him with the skills to adeptly navigate the complexities of political governance.
